Adequate housing is fundamental to health, well being, and life.

An affordable home should not be a luxury commodity available only to those who are well-off, nor should anyone be priced out of housing and left to deteriorate on our streets. Yet, as our state’s housing costs continue to spiral out of control, that is the reality for too many Californians.

It is time for our state to come together to recognize that housing is a basic human need—and to consider the proper role of government in ensuring that all Californians have access to adequate housing.

ACA 10 is a constitutional amendment that will guarantee the right of all Californians to permanent and healthy housing.
